 There are many factors that contribute to high rate of poverty. One of them is selfishness.  This is something that has been destroying society and no one talks about it . 

Nowadays we live in a society where every man for is for himself. We no longer believe in  words like no man is an island.  One is able to pile himself with opportunities that can help others to himself. 

Even for those who share, only share with their family members only. We practice this from school not aware of what we're building for ourselves.

 The reason most of us are victims of poverty is because we have mentality that owning a car is a sign of success and walking is a sign of poverty.  Most people who managed to have certain money do not think of investing or exploring other options of making more money than spending it. 

Yes it's true there are situations where a car could be a need but we have missused that to an extent that it loose meaning. 

When we were young our parents used to focus more on having assets such as house before car. That seemed to work for them because at that time most of us have their home unlike now.

Marriage can be in two ways some people prefer to be in a marriage where they have every material things than attention and love while some prefer to be in a marriage where they are respected and given attention

in most case one would find that children living in poverty are often born to parents living in poverty, creating a circle. one would find that our parents are unemployed hence they face difficulty in fining the best education for us. this end up leading to child poverty this also affects the child in future

Education is the process of acquiring knowledge and skills that people are expecting to have in your society.Some people find themselves victims of poverty because of lack of knowledge. Knowledge can be from field or from experience. This goes together with people from rural areas, most of them only focuses on crops and animal without focusing on the damaged that can be caused by climate change.
